Ethical principles

Our ethical principles are loyalty, respect, transparency and rejection of corrupt practices.

LOYALTY
It means the mutual trust.

Sodexo shares a lot of clients´, customers´, employees´ and shareholders´ mutual aims based on mutual trust that contributes to clear and loyal relationships between different interest groups. Loyalty is one of our business bases.

RESPECT
People are the spirit of the Sodexo Company.

Sodexo provides equal opportunity for all employees with the same level of education regardless of their race, national origin, creed, opinions, gender, lifestyle choices or age. Respect is regarded to be the absolute value essential for high-quality life. Therefore the human dignity is put first. We cannot speak about life without considering the needs of individuals.

TRANSPARENCY
Unambiguous and clear information is the base.

Transparency is more than mere right for necessary information, it is a permanent approach expressing following things:
We ensure incessantly that every employee is informed in clear, practical terms of their objectives, rights and duties and of important corporate news. Employees are expected to be completely transparent in the information they provide.
We provide all shareholders with the same accurate, clear and transparent information about our company.
We provide high-quality products and services to our clients and we always seek to create value for them.
We offer our suppliers clear, understandable contracts and they are required to respect our ethical principles.

REJECTION OF CORRUPT PRACTICES AND UNFAIR COMPETITION
What we reject as a matter of principle.

All over the world we reject all approaches that are not based on mutual trust, integrity and impartiality.
Corruption and unfair competition don’t allow creating or keeping long-term and trouble-free partnerships.
All partners of ours know this approach and they are also required to strictly reject such practices.
