Sodexo Pass has increased its offer with experiences

By obtaining the majority interest in DEN JAK SEN company, which has laid the foundation stone of the market with experiences in the Czech Republic, Sodexo Pass has entered a new field.

Sodexo Pass, which is number one in the field of providing employees' amenities in the Czech market, has obtained the majority interest in DEN JAK SEN company.  Thanks to this, it has entered a new field – in the progressively developing market with experiences – and thus it has broadened its existing portfolio of gift vouchers to services and material gifts.

DEN JAK SEN company was the first one to have introduced experiences to the Czech market in 2004. It has managed to establish a strong position as well as a good image and at the moment it offers 100 different experiences, including floating, tandem parajumps, drives in Hummer vehicle or flight on Mig 31.

“By obtaining the majority interest in DEN JAK SEN company, positive changes are going to take place. We are going to include experience products into our offer, however, we want to fully keep the mark DEN JAK SEN and, in addition to this, we are going to support and develop it,“ says Daniel Čapek, marketing director of Sodexo Pass. Eva Ginzelová, Executive of DEN JAK SEN, adds, “A decisive factor when considering the entry of a strategic partner into our company was that the management of DEN JAK SEN would not change by the acquisition and it would continue to be within the competence of the current management who has built up the successful mark. Sodexo Pass is going to act here as a majority owner to which the management of DEN JAK SEN shall be responsible. Besides, the utilization of the vast portfolio of clients and partners of Sodexo Pass will help further broadening of services of DEN JAK SEN company.“
There comes to the connection of offers of both companies by the acquisition. Sodexo Pass has a leading position in B2B market (services for companies) as an expert in benefits and DEN JAK SEN aimed at an end customer is a leader in B2C market (services provided directly to end customers). By the connection of the offer of products and services of both companies Sodexo Pass brings experiences to B2B market.

Vouchers for experinces complete the wide portfolio of gift vouchers of Sodexo Pass. As an extensive survey, which has been carried out by the company recently (and the interesting results of which Sodexo Pass is going to publish in the nearest future), has shown, the popularity of gift vouchers and among them also vouchers for experiences keeps growing. “It is getting more and more difficult to find a present that the donee would really appreciate at the time when we have given him/her most of the possible practical presents. To donate an experience means the possiblity of making the donee´s even most secret wish come true,“ concludes Miroslav Sedlák, managing director of Sodexo Pass.
