At the beginning of November 2008, Sodexho Pass Česká Republika a.s., a top provider of employee benefits in the Czech market, is adopting a new logo and company name: Sodexo PassČeská republika a.s. The Czech branch of the international Sodexo Group is following a worldwide re-branding campaign aimed at the brand revival, simplification and reinforcement of the company's main mission.
Two main changes have been made as part of the brand development:
Our logo was dynamized and given a more contemporary graphic design, which rejuvenates and refreshes our brand. The star, which has been part of our Group's visual identity for a long time, is a symbol of the performance and energy of Sodexo teams working towards one goal. This star is different from other stars, in the same way Sodexo is different from its competitors. The crossbar of the letter „x“ is curved like a smile, referring to Sodexo's mission „to improve the quality of daily life“.
Letter „h“ has been dropped from our name – a simpler and more dynamic name is easier to pronounce and spell for people all over the world.
„Sodexo brand is more than just a company logo. It is a commitment. It represents our corporate values and image; it is the expression of who we are and what we believe in. We want the Sodexobrand to refer to the quality of our services and to convey its mission of „making every day a better day“to our clients and customers,“ said Tomáš Kopřiva, Marketing Director of Sodexo Pass Česká republika. Our new brand expresses the relationship between Sodexo employees, clients, business partners and users, of whom there are more than 600,000 in the Czech Republic. Another company of the Sodexo Group operating in the Czech market, Sodexo společné stravování a služby s. r. o., will change its logo on January 1, 2009.
